this sounds like a bad wipermotor or switch. use a test light and turn wipers on try all speeds and check for power at the motor and also check for a good ground at motor, if theres power and ground at the wipermotor then motor is bad. if theres no power or a ground at motor then its a switch or bad wire to wiper motor, start with these tests this will help you pin point the problem.
you should check the connection to the main board and the connections to the motor for the wipers. these sometimes become gunked up, so when you pull them apart to check them clean them with sand paper or something that can scrub them like a green scratch pad
Ok, here are the wiring colors and functions/destinations. C0030 is the motor connector for the front windscreen. C0030-1 - Black, runs to a Earth C0030-2 - White/Green - Fed from the front wiper relay, via the IDM C0030-3 - Blue/Green - Flick Wipe/Fast Wipe C0030-4 - Green/SlateGrey - Power from Aux Relay C0030-5 - Red/Green - Looks to be a speed control connection.
It's hard to tell to be honest, you'd really need to sit down with RAVE and the electrical circuit diagram and the operation description to make head or tail of it.
should be under the screwed down cover behind the fuses in the engine compartment.
If your wiper is having issues normally it is the mechanical side of the unit. Try going to www.benzworld.org or peachparts.com and look on how to lubricate it.
well the good thing is you know the wipers work !! , I would start by seeing if the washer squirters work when using the Wiper lever . and I would also see if it worked on fast speed and slow speeds . If it does you may have a wiper switch that has gone bad ! ,
I have a Range Rover 2006 and suddenly under heavy rain the wipers atrat going very fast and quit working, I change the speed and work again but after a minute the wipers quit. And I can not find the problem . Somebody can help me?
