Overheat 2001 hyundai tiburon

I have a 2001 Hyundai tiburon. overheat. the car constantly overheats .i have switched out the heads, replaced the alternator, replaced the heat temp sensor, put in a new radiator. the only thing i can think of that would be causing it to overheat is the thermostat.

I'm having the same problem with the same model and year car. It overheats mostly at higher speeds, coolant backs up in the reservoir and comes out the overflow. My first thought was the thermostat, but I pulled it and still have the same problem. When I start the vehicle, the radiator hoses get pressure, indicating (to me at least, but I don't claim to be a mechanic) that the water pump is pumping. Any ideas?

Only 2 parts remaining are the thermostat and waterpump. Always start with the thermostat when diagnosing an overheating problem. If the car is overheating constantly under all conditions and coolant is backing up into the reservoir, it's very likely to be the thermostat. If it only overheats at low speed or idling, it's more likely the waterpump.

My 2000 Hyundai Elantra overheats. The thermostat, radiatior, water pump, timing belt and two sensors have been replaced with new parts. What is it causing to overheat?

do a presue test after engine is at normal temp . check for any leaks but am sure you blew your head gasket long before you replaced the other parts

My '99 Tiburon is overheating quite frequently. Coolant is full, but when idling it overheats 3 out of 5 times.. All answers are must appreciated, thanks.

try changing the fan sensor switch on the cylinder head ,also the thermostat ,but again without my head under the bonnet its difficult to diagnose as it coulod be the rad blocked ,quick measure is to turn heater on full on screen and this should cool the engine if its a blocked rad or a jammed thermostat .

Why is my 1998 hyundai accent overheating?

The head gasket has gone so pressure builds up in the cooling system and forces water out of the overflow

You need someone to take the head off , skim it and fit a new gasket

Overheating

Once a car overheats, it always ruins the thermostat, and it has to be replaced.
It is cheap and easy to do. But overheating the rist time still needs to be fixed. Could be loose belt, bad fan or switch, leaking head gasket, etc.

No Heat in Alaska!!!!!!

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but did u check your anti-freeze level? If it's low, you won't have heat, if it gets a little lower than that, your car overheats. countrycurt0
