There are a few different problem areas in your vehicle that come to mind as I was reading your complaint. I will go over the wire diagram for this neon and see exactly what we could be dealing with. Most importantly, I see your check engine light is coming on. If you can scan it while its on and get the codes I will be able to tell you pretty much exactly what is causing this jerking issue. Hopefully its a simple fix, could be under the hood, mechanical or electrical. Ive seen these pcm's fail in the past also. Advanced auto or autozone typically scans codes for free. Please Advise

Usually a scanner to read the engine fault code could lead to the correct diagnosis and repair. But if this transmission was recently repaired bring it back and tell them to do their job.

Running out of fuel = fuel filter clogging up. Depending on the direction of the jerk, if your wheels are out of alignment, it will jerk side to side. Transmission low on fluid, clogged trans filter.

If you suspect a fuel issue, check the pressure at
the motor with a gauge

Check the fluid level, add some transmission aditive. this should take care of the reverse problem. Check the engine and transmission mounts for the jerking. Let me know.

if automatic tranny, it is at fault, radiator is fine . if the tranny is rebuilt the torque converter is not working as it should.

You probably have out of round brake rotors. Check them or have a mechanic do so. Other than that, a little more information is needed.
