2008 Chevy Blazer automatic door lock problem

On my Chevy Blazer 2008 I can use the remote to unlock the doors and it will continue to lock and unlock them. I have to time it just right to be able to open the drivers side door. Also while I am driving the automatic door locks keep locking and unlocking. This happens if I am in drive or in park. You can just keep hearing them clicking lock then unlock.

Good afternoon....what would cause my 2008 Chevy

It could be the power lock motor. You could have a short or bad wiring harness. Might just be a fuse that connects to both. But since you said it's only the driver side. When the power lock motor is bad it can trigger your alarm because they're wired together.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Reprogram keyless entry

It took me a few attempts to program a new keyless remote for my 2002 Chevy Blazer.
Insert key into ignition but don' turn it yet. While holding down the UNLOCK switch on the door, the trick is to cycle the ignition ON OFF ON OFF as quickly as possible then release the UNLOCK switch. If done correctly the door locks will cycle 1x to acknowledge. Then hold both the unlock and lock buttons down on the remote for about 15 seconds. The locks should cycle again to confirm...Hope this helps.
