If the ecu or engine management system detects a signal from the engine is missing its normally an important one if the light doesnt go out .check crankshaft position sensor or cam position sensors. Coloneus.
Have the car scanned for trouble code

SOURCE: car switching it self off while running
if ur engine is a c14nz its probabbly ur ignition module, its the part right behind your ignition coil, when they get too hot they stop sending the electricity needed and the car just dies while ur driving it, after a few minutes it cools off and then u can continue yout trip...
must be replaced to fix the problem
if ur engine is not a c14nz, let me kknow wich one is by giving me your vin number and also engine number so i can give u a hand
let me know
SOURCE: wrong terminals placed on battery
should be ok because a thing called a zena diode in the alternator should have protected the alternator
SOURCE: Reverse lights on Opel Corsa Classic 2000 model not working
check to see that when you put the car into reverse that it is hitting the switch and pressing it in properly, you may need to adjust the switch for it to make proper contact
No idea offhand to be honest i would need my head under the bonnet to know what wrong .could be anything from the gauze filter in the fuel tank on the bottom of the fuel pump becoming chocked up and leaving the car allows it to drop away to a faulty pump overheating or the contacts ,maybe even a ignition module overheating ,Best advice is ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as normally these early opel corsas with the 4 cylinder engine are bullet proof they are even valve free if the timing belt snaps .
