Turn the steering wheel all the way in one direction so you can see the hydraulic brake hose then look for a small wiring harness coming out of the brake, it may be easier to look at the rear same deal wire harness coming out means ABS I hope this helps.Take care.

SOURCE: Gas gauge problems with 2004 Buick Rendezvous

No, there is not a fuse for this. Unfortunately, you have a bad sending unit. In order to replace the sending unit you have to drop the gas tank. it more to get rid of all of that gas and it will be easier to put back up.
please remember to rate this solution.

SOURCE: need instruction manual/schematics for replacing 2005 kia rio driver side rear wheel bearing. i've got the wheel/hub/bearing off, not the inside ring to the bearing. i need to know how to replace it .

clean all the grease if there is any out of the hub, turn the hub over and using a drift and hammer strike the shell from the back edge working around the shell as you go, should not take too much to remove it but you will need a bit more than a tap with the hammer.
Hope this has helped you

SOURCE: how to replace wheel bearing hub

its not the same. the gm is a bolt on hub and bearing. on the mazda, its a press in. you need to remove the steering knuckle and use a hydraulic press to press the old one out and the new one in.

2004 BUICK RENDEZVOUS AWD DISABLE, ABS DISABLE LIGHTS on and off intermittently and brakes pulsate on and off. What do you suggest?

run fault codes
pulsating brakes only occurs under heavy braking when the pulses come from the releasing of the brakes and the reapplication of the brakes by the ABS controller
what you write suggests warped discs and or brake pads worn out
the pulsations could also be from failing wheel bearings allowing the sensor head to touch the rotor on the hub
run the fault codes and have a professional brake specialist shop check the brakes

How to find out if my 2004 buick rendevous has anti lock brakes or not

All Vehicles have anti-lock brakes, since about
1986 or 87. (that is 25 years)

You won't be buying any Wheel Hub Bearing Assy
& expect a repair shop to install it

To know about your axle hub assy, you will need both a road
test & then remove the brake rotor & caliper, to feel for a bad

Do you have years of automotive experience in diagnosing
& repair?

Should the entire bracket that holds the wheel bearing be replaced. drobert8. Buick Rendezvous 2002

The front wheel bearing for your Buick is an integrated wheel hub/bearing/ABS.
Yes, the whole thing gets replaced. It should look like the one off my Bonneville; Bearing.

Remove wheel/tire. Remove brakes. Remove rotor. Remove axle nut. Press-out axle shaft. Unplug ABS connector. Remove 3 bearing bolts.
Don't forget to put the heat sheild back on during reassembly, and the axle nut need to be very tight.

2002 Buick Rendezvous Service traction system and ABS lights, grinding when turning ans braking

The ABS and Service Traction system may be due to bad sensors or signal reaching the ABS/Traction Control computer. The grinding may be due to uneven or unsmooth rotors, and/or worn out pads or shoes.

I would recommend that the entire braking system be diagnosed at your local dealer or brake service facility.

Buick rendevousz headaches

I own the 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX and I've encountered the same problems listed here. The ABS / Traction Control Lamp stays on and was throwing a code for the left wheel speed sensor as well as an anti-lock brake code (both in the wheel bearing hub assembly). I replaced the left and right front wheel hub assembly yet this did not eliminate the abs codes.
Ultimately, I traced this problem to a break in the wire that leads to the left hub assembly. Although the sensor was properly connected, the wire (which is encased in a plastic housing) was broken. This is the wiring which leads from the abs wiring harness under the hood down to the left wheel abs sensor.
I would suggest that you simply remove the left wheel and inspect the wire that leads to the abs sensor (there is only one wire on each wheel). Mine literally fell apart when I removed the plastic housing around the wire. I spliced the wire together and put it back in the plastic housing. After this, my abs codes disappeared and my anti-lock brakes began working again!
This is a simple fix that many people spend $1000 + on by replacing the hub assembly which does not fix the problem.
