Any misfiring while its running? Codes? I did have a dodge once that did this and sometimes wouldnt start back up for an hour or so. After throwing lots of $$$ at it turns out map sensor. Good luck.
IT sounds like a vacuum leak from the brake booster on brake application . Easy test run the car and if it idles ok then put your foot on the brakes and if it stalls it is the booster.
simple test
start the engine and let idle
if idles ok , then put you foot on the brake
if it stalls ---replace the faulty brake booster
as with all faults in a cars
have the fault codes read first to avoid unnecessary waste of time and cash
Fuel injectors may be dirty.. or plugged.
The car just sitting there may have caused the gas to go bad which may have

When the dash lights blink, is it unlike anything you've seen it do before?

Not 100% sure which type you'll have but if you have pintle type (pointed end) Remove it, spray it well with throttle body cleaner as well as port it came from, and retry. If it cures it temporarily & starts to do it again, replace it.
