This is a protection feature to prevent disabling the alarm, if you have no means of stopping it with a keyfob, then disconnect the battery ground and reconnect it, that usually resets stuff to where you need it. check your manual first and make sure that I am not giving you wrong info on your battery as some are hooked up weird and have buttons and clips to get to do this stuff. (AKA BE CAREFUL!)

Panic switch

The alarm is armed if keyfob is used. So you must use the fob to disarm alarm first. So someone can not unlock and open door without keyfob or alarm will be set off.

I have 2004 Honda Pilot and I started it with jumper and the alarm couldn't be stopped after I turn the engine off.

If the battery is dead when you jump it the alarm will sound. Pop the hood and put the jumper cables on first, then put the key in and start the car. this should turn the alarm off.

Wont start when key in ing. and turning on than cutting off if battery dead

factory alarm, when manually unlocking the door the lights flash & horn usually go off & the car will start & shut off within a second or 2. Have 2 96 jeeps that do it the panic button on the keyless entry is the only way to shut it off. If the battery has died & a new one is installed it trips the panic mode as well. If the battery is dead but vehicle starts with a jump but shuts off soon after jumper cables are removed, the alternator is bad & cant keep the computer powered up & will shut down the vehicle. A little more specific with symptoms will make diagnosing much easier.

panic goes off.... have the dealer reprogram it and make sure the function of it is proper.. if the reprogramming does not work the module will need to be replaced like all other malfunctioning modules.
