Your look at owners manual or a wiring diagram .

http://www.bbbind.com/tsb-wiring-diagrams-database-results/?type=WD&years=1998&make=50&makeDesc=Pontiac&model=538&modelDesc=Bonneville&system=5&systemDesc=Engine&subsystem=99&subsystemDesc=Charging%20System&docid=7507782

Looking at the wiring diagram i wouldn't suspect a bad fuse , main battery cable to the s terminal on the starter solenoid , starter relay , PNP - park neutral position switch , PASS KEY II theft deterrent module or the ignition switch . Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter to test electrical circuit's ?

SOURCE: bonneville wont start

Check your battery cables,, they are probably loose or corroded. Side mount batteries that hold multiple cables have this problem that occurs over an extended period of time. Cleaning the connections and retightening the hold down bolt may fix it. Sometimes a 3/8 bolt and a washer with a nut can be used to get
a more positive holding force to keep the cable tight.

SOURCE: replace horn fuse in fuse panel of 1992 pontiac bonneville

Your fuse box is located on the driver side under the dash board. Up above where your brake and gas pedal are located. There should be a plastic cover that can be snapped off to reveal all of your fuses and on the inside of this plastic cover there should be a diagram of the fuses that are in use.

1998 pontiac bonneville will not start. good battery new alternator

Your starter may be bad. Try hitting the starter. Use a long heavy screwdriver. Place it on the starter and wack it a good time with a hammer. If the brushes are bad this will make contact again. Try to start car. This may or may not work all of the time. Chances are your starter is bad and needs replaced.
