Radiator fan should turn on when the coolant reaches certain temperature. You can try turning on the AC and see if the fans are turning on first then diagnose further from there. If the fans turned on when AC is on then the fan motors, fan fuse and the relays are fine. You need to looking into coolant temperature sensor and the wiring's (there are 2 of them, not the one with single lead, that is the one goes to the temperature meter on your dashboard). If your coolant temperature sensor and wiring's are find then there could be a problem of the ECU.

What make the rad.fan change speeds

If this is the original cooling fan it is very likely the cooling fan motor is defective or the connector to it is heat damaged from the motor problem, Make up a jumper cord from house lamp cord and hook it directly to the cooling fan motor, if the motor still turns slowly then the motor is defective.

Egine is cool no fan comes on... OK... Engine heats up, no fans come on. Not OK... Red light comes on and engine starts to over heat.... If I turn the Air Conditioner on both fans come on and you can...

There is a fan control module in the engine compartment that you could try replacing. Rather than replace the temp switch, you could try shorting it's connector terminals just to see if the switch is the problem.

My pulsar in overheating put new coolant in no change fans dont seem to be working but engine was hot and gauge showing only halfway, cant find the thermostate is it in the housing the top hose is...

Make sure the fans are coming on or it will over heat. If the fans come and the gauge is reading hot check the thermostat. Follow the top radiator hose to the engine block it probably has 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing on.

A4 TDI Overheating does not over heat whwn ideling removed thermostate changed water pump dont think its the head gasket can you think of anything else thanks Dougie

Turn your A/C fan to the highest setting and verify if your cooling fans are coming on and staying on. If not then there is a problem with the cooling fan circuit.

I just changed my radiator, thermostate. But it is still overheating.I don't see any smokes, but the gauge for the temperature above normal. What should I do?

The radiator fan may not be blowing.
Idle car with parking brake engaged.
Turn OFF Air Conditioner
Pop open hood and look at the radiator fan.
It is not spinning.
Turn ON Air Conditioner and look at fan.
The fan MUST be spinning.

Replace the "Radiator fan" relay switch.
Check primary fuses and replace as needed.
