well ,how was it towed .please say on a flat bed or with the front tires down on the ground. I am hoping the tow truck did you have the back tires down and towed it by the front .if it was towed by the front then you need a transfere case and hope not a transmission also
No we can not tell you which fuse because there is no fuse to pull. If you do an internet search for "tow a blazer behind an RV" you will find the procedure to put the transfer case in neutral and take it back out when you want to drive the truck. Its about 10 steps using the 4wd buttons on the dash.
Not sure how much the malibu weighs ,but I would think around 2500 lbs. the thing is the ability to stop and accelerate and how far you are going to tow it. I think you would be safer to use a 2 wheel tow dolly that a tow bar .and that way you wont damage the drive system on the malibu.Nice and easy is the key to sucess in towing
If towing that far of a distance place the front wheels on a tow dolley and pull it from the front with the car in nuetral. That is entriley to far to be pull from the rear will mess up the steering linkages.
Front wheels up in the air and rear wheels touching the ground be probably the safest,im not sure if they reccomend towing it with shift lever in N.Maybe on a short distance it would be ok.Dont take my word on that though.
