The service air bag light stays on after engine start-up.
Sometimes the wiring under the passenger seat can become compromised from objects in floor becoming wedged under the seat.May need to be reconnected if possible..Usually if the air bag light remains on , it means the air bag will not engage if needed. Should have the dealer service department check for you.
Probably need to change the air bag. It may reset if you disconnect the battery but don't hold your breath!
This light is on for a reason. Have it checked by the dealer ASAP.

You need access to VagCom (the diagnostic software from VW and Audi). You can download it free at www.ross-tech.com, and buy the interface cable for your laptop on eBay for about $20. Or you can pay an hour's labor at a VW/Audi dealer to have them turn off the light.
What probably happened is similar to what happened in my 99 Audi A4. I have side airbags in the seats, and if the front seats are moved all the way back for any reason, it puts tension on the yellow airbag connector under the seat. That pulls it out just enough to open the contact and trip an airbag failure light. What I did was zip-tie the connector tightly (be very careful of the wires, as they're small and you don't want to pinch them), then use VagCom to turn off the light. Using the software is the only way to turn the light off - no ignition cycling or drive cycles, or number of miles driven, nor a battery disconnect, can reset the light.
Use VagCom to find out which airbag is giving you trouble, zip-tie its connector, and have the light turned off. Then you're set.

if the air bag stays on that means you have a problem with the air bag system, and you need to have it diagnose, but if you just bought the sedona from a used car dealer they have to fix it, it is part of the safety inspection requred by law

Probably the dealer will reset the system it for free.

Sounds like the sensor is tripped due to low pressure in the compressor you have to get the unit charged and the light will go off. Or take it to a auto parts store and have them put their diagnostic code reader on their and have them clear the codes this may fix it as well
