Volvo S40 2.0T (2000 X Reg) P0102 P0171

My Volvo S40 2.0T (2000 X Reg)has had the engine management light on for several months now. It has been to the garage 6 times and they plug it into their diagnostics machine which comes up with 3 different codes "mixture adaption" "P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input" and "P0171 System too Lean Bank 1". I have had a new Mass Air Meter and a new oxygen sensor in the exhaust and the light reset. Had this problem on last car (Volvo S40 2.0T 1999) but a new mass air meter fixed it. The garage have said they will do a bit of research. Last time they serviced it (51000 miles) it only had codes P0171 and P0102, not mixture adaption.
I've checked the earths. Anything else I can try?

Hi, Since you have both codes Fuel system lean and MAF low I would bet money on that you have an intake air leak after the throttle. Check all hoses connected to the intake manifold, gaskets, injectors are put in place etc.

I have a 2007 Chevy hhr and the codes are p0102 p0113 p0171 and p0300 it won't start when I first turn the key but when I do it the second time it starts up so what could be the problem

p0102 is your Mass Air Flow device.
p0113 is "air intake temperature" sensor voltage too high.
p0171 is "engine running too lean"
p0300 is "random misfire"

You can pretty much ignore your p0113, p0171 may be caused by a bad MAF, and p0300 may be caused by your p0171.

the actual indication for your MAF is that the voltage getting to the computer from the MAF is too low. It could be a bad MAF, or bad wire between the MAF and the computer.

Volvo s80 T6 2000 error cood P0102

code p0102 refers to mass air flow (MAF) / volume air flow(VAF sensor-- low input===causes --wiring short to ground---MAF/VAF sensors---ECM
I would replace the MAFor VAF sensor after having each one tested to find the faulty unit.
