Half day with an experienced mechanic doing the job is a reasonable estimate.

What would it cost a mechanic to install motor mounts on a 1995 gmc sonoma 4.3 litre 4*4

Im sure your 95 is no different then my 01 sonoma 4x4 u shouldn't need a cherry picker to do the engine mounts a small block of wood and a floor jack to support the engine from underneath and take a little bit of the load off the mount should work you dont have to lift the engine out to do them its not easy this way but is possible and cost less money working for a gm parts department and a former tech you would be spending and average of 75 to 100 an hour labor wise depending on what shop u take it to and what shop labor rates at like near you I would estimate an easy 2 hours labor but it all goes by book time thats or determined at the shops

The cost to replace the 3 motor mounts on 2003 Nissan Murano

The motor mount may be found at a local part store or can be ordered from them. Often they are less expensive than a dealer because they are an aftermarket manufactured part to fit your car. As to the labor, Shop rates vary depending on where you are located in the country.
They could be $75.00 an hour, $100.00 an hour, I don't know. Additionally, some shops use estimating guides just as guides and may figure more labor than is in the book. The book is not always right. Additionally, A technition may run into extenuating problems in putting your mounts in which may take more time than the average job.
Keep in mind that a labor guide is figured with labor working on new cars with new parts.which haven't been exposed to dirt, grease, rust, collapsed parts which require more labor to gain access to some of the mounting bolts. We run into splash shields which have been shaved partially off because the car has been run up on curbs when it is parked. This makes it hard to put a socket or wrench on.This hardware must be replaced.which is an additional cost to an original estimate both in labor and in parts.Get the picture now? An estimate may usuallly be close, typically within 10% of the original quote.I hope I may have answered your question adaquately enough to understand that there are many things depending on where you are located in the country which will affect the cost of replacing your mounts. Call 3 shops and get an idea. Usually they will figure a cut and dry, no problems anticipated estimate and compare them. They should udually be in the same ball park. If someone is really cheap, I would not take my car there. It is usually a sign that rthey are cutting corners somewhere to give such a low quote. Good luck.

How much is labor to install a 5.9 cummings engine

This question cannot be answered without more information. What vehicle will the engine be installed in? Is there already an engine in the vehicle, which will have to be removed first? Is the engine, to be installed, fully assembled and ready to be installed or will the mounts, brackets, harnesses and other components have to be changed over first? What size engine was originally in the vehicle?

Automobile repair shops in today's market charge an average labor rate of $60 to $80 per hour. A motor install will require several hours of labor. The least I have ever seen is 5.25 hours and the most I have seen is 16 hours. These were both rather extreme cases, one being simple and the other complex. On average, you should figure 8 to 12 hours of labor for most vehicles. If the original engine has been removed, you can expect a little less. If all the hardware from the original engine has been removed and installed onto the new engine, you will save even more time and money. The problem with doing all of this is: if the shop you decide to hire to install your engine does not remove the old engine, they cannot warranty their work. Also, if they are not the one to assemble the new engine, again they usually will not warranty their work. It is not safe business for a shop to install a questionable engine into a questionable vehicle and give a warranty because if you supplied them with a bad engine, they will be liable for another engine pull and install, which will cost them time and money.

2000 plymouth breeze motor mounts need replacing... how much money should i expect to pay

Right mount cost about $97.00 for the part, with 0.8 hours labor. If $60.00 an hour = about $48.00.
Left mount cost about $124.00 for the part, with 0.7 hours labor. If $60.00 an hour = about $42.00.

Right mount will be about $145.00 + Tax

Left mount will be about $166.00 + Tax

Maybe you can find a shop with lower labor rates, too save some money ???

Supentine belt

The motor mount needs to be removed to change the belt. The labor guide is 1.5 hours for a trained technician with experience. There is no other way, sorry for the news.

Can not get the serpentine belt around the motor mount

You need to remove the mount, no other way to get the belt on, Labor time is over 1 hour for someone that has done them before.
