1995 Chevy Astro Van, Power windows that only work intermittently, sometimes a few inches and sometimes less before stopping altogether. Both windows, one side has almost stopped completely. I have taken the door apart and tested the voltage, key on, volts are 13-14, off they are 11.4. Checked the continuity of the switch connectors and they are fine. I have activated the window with out the switch and it still moves intermittently before stopping. Has anyone dealt with this before? Should I replace the motor? It appears spring activated or I am missing the regulator. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Try to check wiring in door hinge area for cracks and brakes otherwise get some "lectro-motive" spray and spray the motors BEFORE you replace the motors

How can you check if fuel pump is bad on a 2002 chevy astro

Check your TPS Sensor. My 1995 Chevy Astro Van did the same thing and I thought it was the fuel pump but I was wrong.

1995 Astro Van electric windows no power Is there

The problem will either be a faulty master window switch on the driver door, or a broken wire at the master window switch, or most likely the problem will be a broken wire inside of the weather boot that runs between the door and the body of the vehicle, and most likely it will be inside of the weather boot for the driver side door. If there is power going through the master window switch then look for a broken wire.

Here are two typical GM power window wiring diagrams to help assist you, and let me know if you require any further assistance.

I have a 1995 chevy astro van and the breaks and steering have lost power. The fluid's are full, and I can not detect any broken lines. What could it be?

Your van don't have the regular air (vacum) power brake booster, your has a hydraboost brake booster, which is power by your power steering pump, if power steering pump goes bad you will not have power steering or brakes, brake peddle will feel very hard and will take alot of pressure on the brake peddle to stop your van, more the likely your power steering pump is bad.

1995 chevy astro van

Mine just did same (2001). Have them check the power steering pump--shaft broke in mine. This affects the brakes as well since both power brakes and power steering run off same system in Astros. Broken shaft messed up the booster system.
