Our 2007 Entourage has 40,000 miles on it and we are having problems with the passenger sliding door. It won't stay closed. We push the button to close the door and it will slide shut and then open back up again.
And the van won't start! Within the past two weeks, I have had to be towed to the dealer three times because the engine won't even turn over. They can't seem to find the problem. I am fed up with the entire situaiton!
I have had both of these problems with my van. Only to start. the is much more to come. The dealership had to replace the electical brains to my doors. Also, if you are parked on a slant the doors seem not to work properly. there was another brain they had to replace for the starting problem. I would get power to the inside of the van and the engine wouldn't even try to start. Turn the key and nothing. Today my van started miss firing. Yet, another computer problem.
we have a 207 ntourage as well. the problems are the same. one code came up as the "junction box" or what is the brain for the anti theft system. hyundai told us no need to reprogram the key remotes...well, we got the car back and now have to open and lock the doors from inside the van or by the old fashioned way wqith the key manually from outside. this repair was $470.00. we drove to kansas for thanksgiving to visit our son and made it there and back to connecticut in what seemed to be a new van. 2 days later, same problem. now the van is in the garage waiting for a new computer....approx a $1500 repair ..this was another code that came up when they ran a scan.
i'll never buy another hyundai vehicle.

Lube everything that moves on that door with white lithium grease, also lube the door latch.
