I have a 1991 Accord. Brake Light is not lighted up

I have a 1991 Accord. The Brake Light Warning light in my dash board is on. When I step the brake, only the left tail light is lighted up. The Brake Light on the Back Dash & the right Tail light do not light up. I turn on the head light switch and both 2 tail lights are lighted up. The light bulb of the Brake light is new. I check the fuses in the fuse box and I don't see any bad fuse. The trunk light also is not lighted up even though the bulb is new too. Cannot figure out what's the causes of this problem.

Hi, my brake lamp stays on after turning ignition on in honda accord 1988 carb despite all brake lamps are working fine no burnt one, I appreciate your help

Majdi, if you mean the brake warning light in the dash is on after starting your car, the light is telling you there is a fault/problem with the braking system. You should not continue to drive if the brake warning light is on, as your brakes could fail. You will have to have a good shop check your brakes and diagnose problem and estimate repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

ABS/TCS lights on 2002 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6. Have high quality OBDII Scanner. Should the on board system report the problem to the scanner?

Only if the warning light showed on the dash...most often these abs sensors get clogged with brake dust or dislodged during wheel swaps if the pads are fine and fluid level correct...first check the brake pads then the disks and clean the sensors with an old toothbrush and reseat, also check the fluid level on the abs system.this should clear warning light.but any error codes stored on ecu need to be cleared using obd.

1991 geo prizm, battery light and brake light in the dash stay lit when you start the car. The car still runs fine just the dash warning lights stay on. The alternator was replaced maybe three years ago,...

Yes, it could be. Or you can check your battery. And try adding brake fluid to your master cylinder. That sometimes will cause the brake light to come on. Or check your emergency brake. Hope this helps, James Booth.

1991 honda accord brake light indicator stays on dash

Brake light switch? Its mounted near the top of the brake pedal lever. The lever contacts and holds the switch closed which keeps the lights from turning on when at rest. When you step on the brake, the contact is broken, the switch extends and completes the circuit allowing the brake lights to illuminate.
