sounds like a mass air flow senser, this senses load on the engine,you can buy an insert which is a quarter the price of a new unit. the e-class gave a lot of trouble with this senser.

automatic gear on merecedes e220 stuck in first will not change up when accelerating could any one tell me how to get this fixed please

have yor dealer check for updated software for your transmission or engine control modules

they did not install bands right needs to be rebuild bands need to be adjusted
