The easiest way will be to take it 2 a subaru dealer or an auto electriction and get them 2 remove the alarm..but you could dissconnect and un bolt the external alarm siren..

On my 1999 Subaru Outback, the horn beeps after I lock using the keyless remote. The problem is intermittent - hard to tell when it is going to happen. It gives two short beeps (Beep......Beep) then

This is a tough one, it sounds like the alarm is arming itself when you lock the door, the alarm system is arming , there is a way i think to cancel out the horn chrip, the only other thing is the door lock is bad or the alarm module is going bad. Did the horn always chrip or beep before and do you know if the alarm works?

I had my car battery replaced and now i open the door and the alarm goes off.

I have heard of this from various different car owners. One Mercedes owner didn't even know he had an alarm for 4 years. If you don't have the original key fob, you will have to get your solution from the nearest dealership. They can probably solve your problem over the phone. Good luck, my friend, Dana

Alarm sounds and car wont start on my 1995 subaru

First try to reset alarm by inserting key in drivers door lock and lock and unlock-if this does not work try tail lock as well.

Key fob keep on failing to work

sounds like you have a aftermarket system installed, this is most likely interfaced with the subaru keyless, this system needs to be removed to diagnose,i believe the aftermarket system is causing the concern,i've seen many problems arise with these components
