CD player clicks and won't eject cd

I have an 05 equinox. There
is a cd stuck in the cd player. When you push eject it clicks for about 15 sec then says check cd. When it first started it would play the cd thats in there.. but now it will play for about a min and stop.

I have heard that if you can see the cd when you push eject, slip a flat item in such as a butter knife and sort of gently push down on the disk.

We have this problem all the time. Sadly, replacing the radio is the only answer.

Radio is stuck on AM station can,t get FM ,won,t eject cd

Look for a small hole next to the CD player, if there is one, use a tooth pick and push the reset/ eject button in and see, if it will eject the CD while it is on.

cd? the problem is internal to radio not really any fix other than replacing it. I purchase a lot of radios off ebay. but it will need to be reprogrammed and unlocked by dealer if you do this. or can have aftermarket radio installed

Cd stuck in the player

You can use another old CD and some very sticky tape (like duct tape).Take a peice of tape about 2 inches long.Fold it so it's half the lenth and sticky on both sides.Adhere it to the end of the old CD so its flat and will adhere to the other stuck CD.Slide the old CD w/the tape on it(aimed down) in the CD slot and while pressing the eject button and adhere it to the stuck CD and pull.It should stick to the other CD and dislodge it
