My '06 Suzuki Forenza seems to be dragging heavily all of the sudden. It almost seems like i am shifting into lower gears and no matter how high my RPMS accel the car wont pick up. Also a symbols begins to flash a bar with a slash through it, now it is starting to jump when put into reverse and all the gears are wacky...what is going on????

I have a 06 suzuki forenza and code PO700 and a code for high voltage what does this mean?

needs a real scan tool used.
p0700 is just general code, means transmission errors
cheap code readers do that, try a real scan tool

told here same way, wrong tools used.

06 forenza -after pressing shift interlock still does not go into gear

this is called park lock out.
most cars need the brake depressed.
if the brake switch fails, no shifts.
many cars have a console (hidden) bypass.
ever consider reading the operators guide in the glove box.?
nowis that moment.

Were is the transmission stick for forenza 2006 suzuki

There is no dipstick for the forenza auto tranny. it is checked like a manual tranny. you have toremove the fill plug and add some untill it drizzels out.
The plug is behind the lower transmission mount. You either need to jack the car up high or use a lift, Use a 3/8 inch extension to make the tool to remove it. You must have the car running and warmed up to check it, shift through the gears, then put it back into park, remove the plug (while running) and fill to it comes out, then put the plug back in (still running), and you should be good. Make sure you use the correct transmission fluid.

Would you say suzuki forenza 06 is a good car to buy?

They have been doing well and there problems are fewer than most. Sounds like you have a pretty good car. Have those trouble codes checked and repaired though so it does'nt cause problems down the road. Good luck.

TRANSMISSION PULLS VERY VERY SLOW IN DRIVE AND ONLY WHEN I ACCELERATE HEAVILY. REVERSE WORKS FINE.

is this car still under warranty? if so take it back to the dealer and don't accept it as repaired till you drive it. sounds like the logic that controls the transmission is flipping out, sometimes they will tell you that it needs a reflash. what this amounts to is that the manufacturer put some not so great programming in the logic when they built the car but now they have a patch or fix that makes it work better but you have to pay them for their time to install the fix. ask them what they will charge you for the privilege and decide if it's worth it to you. there is a recorded technical service bulletin about harsh shifts for your car. well, actually there are two, the latest one a revision of the first. i would try to make this their problem, it really is. hope this helps.
