2007 chevy silverado(new body style) gets stuck in 4 wheel drive. Is this a problem that I have to go to the mechanix for??? I know I saw the problem for the 2000 silverado, but will that fix the problem with my 2007 model??? Somebody help please.

If you have a 4.3 or 5.7 Litre engine (Silverado Classic Body Style), it is mounted on the back of the intake manifold in a brass fitting just under where the fuel lines come up from the transmission bell housing.

It depends if it is a classic or new style Silverado. Both were made in 2007. If it is a classic Silveradothere is a replaceable relay in the under hood fuse block. If it is a new style Silverado the horn relay is part of the printed circuit board that is only available with UBEC (under hood bussed electrical center).

The electrical switch going to the 4wd is bad more than likely. It would be the one under the truck

i would do i front end alignment because when you drop your truck it gets out of align.

off of your factory harness you will have a small brown wire and a small blue wire among the 5. Do not use the small brown wire, use the blue.

replace the transfer case shift control switch . there is a TSB # 02-04-21-004 released in april of 2002 , on your unit , you may also find a code # B2725 set in the body control module , fualt explination - fualt in transfer case shift control switch . GM part # 15709327 , also he is an excellent link on how to replace it yourself .

A Chevy dealership should have any bolt you need.
I payed around $2.50 for a wheel bearing bolt for my '97 Grand Prix.
