Trouble Code: P0016 (2.0L L4 VIN - Auto) Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A)and read this.
The CVVT (Continuously Variable Valve Timing) system is installed to the chain sprocket of the intake camshaft. This system controls the intake camshaft to provide the optimal valve timing. The PCM controls the Oil Control Valve(OCV), based on the signals output from mass air flow, throttle position and engine coolant temperature. The CVVT controller regulates the intake camshaft angle using oil pressure through the OCV. PCM monitors timing misalignment while no active faults are present and fully warmed up engine oil at idle. If the timing is misaligned PCM determines that a fault exists and a DTC is stored. Possible Causes:
* Oil level, pressure and condition
* OCV
* CVVT
* Timing mark alignment

The camshaft position sensor is always located near the camshaft, often at the top of the valve cover, but it can also be installed from the side of the cylinder head.
Check around the head or valve cover and follow any electrical wires and you will for sure find the camshaft position sensor.

DTC P0017: Crankshaft Position (CKP) - Exhaust Camshaft Position (CMP) Correlation Bank 1
The camshaft position (CMP) actuator system enables the engine control module (ECM) to change the timing of the camshafts while the engine is operating. The CMP actuator solenoid signal from the ECM is pulse width modulated (PWM). The ECM controls the CMP actuator solenoid duty cycle by controlling the amount of solenoid ON time. The CMP actuator solenoid controls the advance or the retard of each camshaft. The CMP actuator solenoid controls the oil flow that applies the pressure to advance or retard the camshafts.
Ignition voltage is supplied directly to the CMP actuator solenoid. The ECM controls the solenoid by grounding the control circuit with a solid state device called a driver. The ECM compares the camshaft position or the camshaft angle, to the position of the crankshaft.
Your a little out of your league on this ! Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop !
• Inspect the engine for any recent engine mechanical repairs. An incorrectly installed camshaft, camshaft actuator, camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, or timing chain can cause this DTC to set.
• An actuator that is in the full advance or retard position can cause this DTC to set.
• The presence of DTCs P0008 and P0009 along with P0016, P0017, P0018, and P0019 indicates a possible condition with the primary timing chain and the alignment between both intermediate sprockets and the crankshaft. Or, the crankshaft reluctor wheel has moved and is no longer referenced to top dead center (TDC).
• Observing the desired and actual camshaft angle parameters, with a scan tool before a DTC sets, may help to isolate whether a condition is specific to one camshaft, one bank, or caused by a condition with the primary crankshaft timing.

Remove the timing belt, tensioner and camshaft angle sensor.
Refer to the procedure in this section for removal and installation
steps.
Remove the left side camshaft pulley(s) and left side rear timing belt cover. Remove the tensioner bracket.
Disconnect the radiator hose and heater hose from the water pump.
Remove the water pump retainer bolts.
Remove the water pump.
To install:
Clean the gasket mating surfaces thoroughly. Always use new gaskets during installation.
Install the water pump and tighten the bolts, in sequence, to
7-10 ft. lbs. (10-14 Nm). After tightening the bolts once, retighten to
the same specification again.
Inspect the radiator hoses for deterioration and replace as
necessary. Connect the radiator hose and heater hose to the water pump.
Install the left side rear timing belt cover, left side camshaft pulley(s) and tensioner bracket.
Install the camshaft angle sensor, tensioner and timing belt.
Install the accessory drive belts.
Install the radiator ran motor assembly.
Install the radiator outlet hose.
Fill the system with coolant.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Start the engine and allow it to reach operating temperature.

Cylinder Head Assembly Removal 1. Disconnect battery ground cable. 2. Disconnect connector of intake air temperature sensor from intake air duct. 3. Remove PCV hose from air intake duct. 4. Remove nut from air intake duct bracket and loosen hose clamp on throttle body. Remove air intake duct assembly with air cleaner cover. 5. Remove intake air duct bracket from cylinder head. 6. Drain engine coolant. 7. Move drive belt tensioner to loose side using wrench then remove drive belt. 033RW001 8. Remove radiator upper hose from engine side. 9. Remove four nuts of exhaust front pipe. 10. Remove three bolts from generator bracket then remove the generator with brackets. 065RW025 11. Disconnect crankshaft angle sensor connector. 12. 2.0L 2.4L RemovalThe camshaft position sensor is mounted to the rear of the cylinder head. Remove the negative battery cable.Disconnect the PCV hose and repositionDisconnect electrical connectors from the camshaft position sensor.Remove camshaft position sensor mounting screws.Remove sensor.Loosen screw attaching target magnet to rear of camshaft and remove magnet. InstalationThe target magnet has locating dowels that fit into machined locating holes in the end of the camshaft. - Install target magnet in end of camshaft. Tighten mounting screw to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.) torque. Over torqueing could cause cracks in magnet. If magnet cracks replace it. - Install camshaft position sensor. Tighten sensor mounting screws to 12.9 Nm (115 in. lbs.) torque. - Carefully attach electrical connector to camshaft position sensor. Installation at an angle may damage the sensor pins.- Connect the PCV Valve hose.- Connect the negative battery cable. 2.7L V6 Removal The camshaft position sensor is mounted in the front of the head. Disconnect electrical connector from sensor.Remove camshaft position sensor screw. CAM Sensor Location 2.7L Without pulling on the connector, pull the sensor out of the chain case cover. Installation- Install sensor in the chain case cover and push sensor in until contact is made with the boss on the head. Disconnect the PCV hose and reposition.
Disconnect electrical connectors from the camshaft position sensor.
Remove camshaft position sensor mounting screws. Remove sensor.
Loosen screw attaching target magnet to rear of camshaft and remove magnet.
INSTALLATION The target magnet has locating dowels that fit into machined locating holes in the end of the camshaft.
Install target magnet in end of camshaft. Tighten mounting screw to 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.) torque. Over torqueing could cause cracks in magnet. If magnet cracks replace it.
Install camshaft position sensor. Tighten sensor mounting screws to 12.9 Nm (115 in. lbs.) torque.
Carefully attach electrical connector to camshaft position sensor. Installation at an angle may damage the sensor pins.
Connect the PCV Valve hose.
Connect the negative battery cable.
2.7L V6 REMOVAL The camshaft position sensor is mounted in the front of the head.
Disconnect electrical connector from sensor.
Remove camshaft position sensor screw.

Without pulling on the connector, pull the sensor out of the chain case cover.
INSTALLATION The camshaft position sensor is mounted in the front of the head.
Install sensor in the chain case cover and push sensor in until contact is made with the boss on the head. While holding the sensor in this position,install and tighten the retaining bolt to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) torque.
