My 2000 Honda Odyssey has a problem with the navigation system. It worked great for the first six years but since then the nav system displays a gray/black screen with horizontal lines. Every now and then it comes back to life and works perfectly as it did on my startup this morning. Doesn't that sound like it could be a fuse or wiring issue? My Honda dealer didn't seem to have any clue at all and just recommended replacing it.
Any thoughts?
Replace it sounds like a bad board or display. Cheaper to replace than repair
Check for loose connection from the receiver to the monitor.
Need to update data on the system.
Nowadays only the dealer can help on those but you can google the brand for support and updates.
Good luck
On Aug 24 2019, after 2 years, my GPS clock started working again. It was only off by 1 minute.

This is how you do it make sure the trip has the odometer showing, not the Trip A or B.
Reset the system by the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition key to the “LOCK” position with the
odometer reading shown.
2. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position while holding down the “ODO/TRIP” button. Hold down the button for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates “000000” and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.
I have used this in every RX330 i have ever done. will not work if trip a or b is showing though

your best possible solution is to take it to the dealer they most like ly will have to download a programing patch to repair the problem.

that might be a honda only thing, but you can try a local stereo store like car toys or even best buy.
You will need to remove the entire unit from the dash and have it repaired at one of the local factory approved repair centers or go online and look for a repair center that does Honda, the online route is much less expensive.
