Wat happens if ur power stearing gear box is going

Possible missing vehicle speed since to transmission control unit scan it and see if there are any codes present.

idle speed control or a vaccum leak

Idle air control valve might be broken or pcv valve pipe broken

lower track control arm bushes worn to excess

Cogs in gearbox are damaged, in first gear and reverse gear.

suprisingly it could be the TCC Solenoid on ur transmission. it could be locked in a gear and when u go to change the gear it stalls out. sooner or later the clutch in the auto transmission will let go and allow you to move. its a long shot. does this happen after a dead cold start or have u been running the car for a while?

check for a defective PCV valve. cheap repair.

Sounds like you need a clutch replacement.

Try this. Go somplace where there are no cars, and no possibility of running into anything. Stop the car. Set the park brake. With the engine running, put the vehicle in 1st gear. Hold the foot brake pedal, and give it gas, and let out the clutch slowly.
If the engine does not stall real quick, the clutch disc is bad.
