Both the interior lights and car stalling are common problems with most Chrysler 300's in that era. The most common fix for the interior lights was " headlight lamp connector failure" due to "bad relay connectors".

The stalling problem was traced back to 2 different possible issues.

  1. Bad EGR valve; when exhaust gas backs up to the point where the car will skip and sometimes stall
  2. Bad Crank Position Sensor
I hope this helps clarify your problem. Best of luck.

Sounds as if you may have a burned out fusible link. These are usually located near the battery and inline with the major B+ wiring.

My 2002 chevy impala's "low engine oil" light was flashing red and making a ringing sound. I checked the oil level and it needed to have a quart added, but it still had some oil on the dipstick. I added...

Yes it is safe to drive it now. But i would recheck your oil level before you drive it. As long as the oil level is where it is supposed to be, then you will be fine.

I have a 1996 Buick park avenue....when I start the car and start driving all my interior lights keep either flashing or stay on....when I turn off the car and get out and lock it up the interior lights...

This is caused by a defective door ajar switch, it is located on the door latch and there is one for each door, the best thing to do is have the dealer scan the body control module and he can see on the scan tool which switch is the problem one.

The battery died and now my interior light won't come on when I open the door. It comes on when I unlock the car with the remote. Also, before I could drive with my lights on and when I turned the car off...

It sounds as if the pin on the lower back corner of the door opening is stuck in the closed position. It is surrounded by a little black rubber boot. If it does not freely push in with your finger and pop back out, the interior light won't operate when the door is open. This same switch also operates to cancel the parking lights when you leave the headlamp switch in the on position.

You may need to remove the door pin and lubricate it. Sometimes the plastic gets dirty and doesn't slide in and out freely.

1996 ford explorer anti theft wont let car start when battery die

Do you have a keyless entry? You could try to enter your vehicle using the keypad on the drivers side door, This should turn off the anti-theft security.

Car dies and battery light comes on.

Will it crank over when it won't start? When It dies check for spark at the sparkplugs if none change the ignition module.
