Ok let's first start with the original problem Courtney did you change the filter because of a no start condition like you still have now? If so you have to check what I'm listing here you can not bypass the fuel pump it's electric high pressure for the fuel injection ok now let's get this party started (1) check your fuses and relays for the fuel pump fuel injection pressure regulator fuel tank pressure sensor fuel injectors idle air control valve idle speed stabilizer throttle position sensor ignition coil and also the spark plugs gap and write everything down so we can eliminate possible causes and post back to me ok also check to see if your throttle body is very dirty inside by pushing the throttle plate back and looking inside please do not try to by pass the fuel pump you will really create much more problems than you have now ok good luck stephen

SOURCE: location of oil filter on a 2008 hyundai elantra

It is located under the alternator. If you are looking down at the engine, it is to the far left. If you are under the car it is to the far right before the oil pan.

SOURCE: locate fuel filter, and safety switch to fuel pump

The filter is located at the rear seat, you have to remove it first, then you will see a cap attach with some screws. Inside that cap you`ll find the fuel filter. Before you change the fuel filter you have to release the fuel pressure first. To do that, first find the FUEL PUMP RELAY in the main fuse box located in the engine. Once you located open the fuel door and take off the cap and leave it open. Start the engine, take off the FUEL PUMP RELAY and leave the engine stop itself, when this occurs turn off the key, the you can take off the filter and changed it

How do you replace filter for 2006 Hyundai elantra

The fuel delivery system integrates the fuel filter with the in-tank fuel pump. To service this filter, remove the fuel pump that is in the gas tank.

2001 Hyundai doesn't accuerate when it first starts. It hardly moves then slowly picks up speed.

I could b gas filter or the filter on fuel pump, or injectors most cars have gas filters on the drivers side railing on frame it's easy to change one bolt on holder and most have two clamps just remove clamps and bolt switch out put back. But be very careful it is pressurized once fuel line is removed fuel will squirt out turn face away.

2000 Hyundai Elantra starts only sometimes.

Here is a view of where the fuel pump is located (in the gas tank) and what all the components look like. Good luck.

I , i try to find the fuel filter for my hyundai elantra 2001

The fuel filter is located under the rear seat in a compartment above the fuel tank. Also, a filter sock at the base of the fuel pump located
in the fuel tank.

On 2001 models the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump. To replace the fuel filter, disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the back seat and take fuel pump cover off to get to the fuel pump. Then you have to 1) disconnect the electrical connector from fuel pump/fuel sending unit, 2) disconnect the high pressure hose and the fuel return hose from the fuel pump and 3) remove the fuel pump mounting flange screws. You can then lift the fuel pump and replace the filter.

Good luck and hope this helps
