I have a 2007 Saturn Aura, it has custom LED lights, but one side went out, I checked to see if it was the light bulb, I unplugged both the ballast and LED light and connected a factory(new) bulb and no light, I checked the fuses and the fuses were good, could it be the harness? Also, it looks like the wiring to the original harness has been redone, but not professionally. Both high beams work and one low beam works, can custom LED lights damage your electrical system?

SOURCE: my high beams stopped working,low beams still work

I have checked the Toyota web sites and the general conscientious is the high beam switch is defective.

the globe is removed by undoing the clip @ the back of the globe quite easy just look and you will see Lindz

There may be a relay that operates the low beam lights, check the owners manual to see if there is a relay, you should be able to hear it go "click" if there is one.

you have a wiring problem, look up cavalier headlight wiring on the internet, there is a harness connector under the battery that sometimes goes bad, or the wires are broken inside the insulation, usually in the front harness, the head lights hi and daytime lights are controlled through the ecm and low beam is on a separate circuit, i have also found problems in the switch or the drl module in the fuse box, any mor questions mail me

most likely the multifunction switch[headlamp switch] is failed.The remove and replace procedure is in a haynes service manual
