Acura Integra Wheel Bearing Replacement - '94-01

Wheel bearing replacement applies to Acura Integra models between 1994-2001.

Removal

  1. Remove steering knuckle. Using Front Hub Remover/Installer (07GAF-SE00100), Hub Remover/Installer Base (07GAF-SD40700) and hydraulic press, remove hub from steering knuckle. Remove splash guard screws and splash guard. Remove bearing retaining snap ring and knuckle ring from knuckle.
  2. Using bearing driver and Attachment (07746-0010500), base and hydraulic press, remove bearing from knuckle. Using commercially available bearing separator, remove inner bearing race from hub. Clean knuckle and hub thoroughly before reassembly.
Installation
Using press and old bearing, install NEW bearing into knuckle. Install snap ring into knuckle groove. Install bearing retaining snap ring splash guard. Invert knuckle. Press new bearing into hub. Press hub into knuckle. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Check alignment.

Acura Integra Hub & Knuckle Removal

How to remove and install hub and knuckle from Acura Integra 1994-2001 applies to all models.

Removal

  1. Raise and support front of vehicle. Allow suspension to hang freely. Remove wheel assembly and spindle nut. Remove brake caliper mounting bolts, and wire caliper aside.
  2. Remove brake disc 6-mm retaining screws. Screw two 8 x 10-mm bolts into disc to push disc away from hub. Turn each screw alternately, and remove disc. Without disconnecting, remove wheel sensor and wheel sensor harness from knuckle (if equipped).
  3. Clean dirt and grease from ball joints. Remove cotter pins from tie rod end ball joint, lower control arm ball joint and upper control arm ball joint. Loosen castle nut half length of ball joint threads. Using 28-mm Ball Joint Remover (07MAC-SL00200), separate in order: tie rod end ball joint, lower control arm ball joint and upper control arm ball joint. Pull hub/knuckle assembly from axle.

My daughter's 94 Acura Integra RS hatchback has a water leak problem. Water is coming in from somewhere and pooling in the spare wheel well, up to a inch or so deep. A friend said to check the tail...

easy to check ,take hose and spray water around lights then check inside if leaking, remove and seal with silicone reinstall. Once silicone has dried test with water hose. It could also be the rubber seal around the rear hatch can also be checked with water hose if leaking replace weather strip

Can i put a 1994 acura integra ls trans to replace a 1989 acura i

I don't think this would be possible wihtout some hassles.

The engine type build changed twice between the 89 and the 94 series integra.

I would suggest you speak to Honda specialised mechanic before you purchase the 94 tranny.

Also check out the Honda forums as they ahve guys who have done some handy things with the ol integra

I have a 94 acura integra ls & now air is coming out of the vents

Check all of the fuses related to the air conditioning. That is where I would start. Normally the AC has its own set of fuses and relays.
