Sounds to me as if there is a bad ground connector on your instrument panel.

I have found that just about 100% of the time this condition is caused by a defective fuel gauge sending unit in the gas tank.

I had the same problem. My gas gage would read full and as I drove the gage would read empty; even when I had a full tank of gas. All I had to do is buy a new gas cap... yes that is all! $15.00 and a day later the gas gage is fixed.

This is a safety feature that the vehicle brings. You need to reset the E.C.U on dealership or it will keep doing it to you. It was probably caused by one single time that you did not closed the fuel cap correctly. Good luck

The main fuse that controls the entire fuse box is what I found worked for me on my 2003 GMC Envoy. I accidentally touched my wrench to the left side of the fuse while hooking the negative up on my battery causing all my interior lights, radio, a/c etc. to not work. It's only $4.99 at advanced auto. Took me awhile after checking every damn fuse in the car and not finding anything. Hope this helps

Thanks rigger debisk it was actually the connection between the battery and battery post that is the craziest thing I've ever seen a car do start up real fine but soon as I clean those posts on the battery everything went back to working
