You will need what is called an oil vacuum pump. They are not very expensive (around $20-$30 US) & are usually available at your local auto parts outlet. They are basically an oversized syringe with a flexible rubber or plastic tube instead of a solid steel probe & will usually hold about a metric litre. Hand operated. Use this to withdraw as much oil as you can from the Diff, it is impossible to get every drop. You will also find it handy to refill the diff, but flush it out first with kero or diesel. I also recommend draining all you can in one step, then waiting 1/2 an hour to 45mins and doing it again to get the last bit.
Testimonial: "Thanks very much DJ for the advice. I used this method years ago on other vehicles and was hoping there was a more efficient means available. Cheers"
