I have a SEAT Arosa 1998 1.4 auto with the VW APQ engine. The head gasket blew so I have dismantled the engine and fixed the problem but now I need the torque settings for this engine please.
I am sorry we have info on all USA models and some common eurozone models like VW, Audi etc. This is not a common make and we have no info on it. Sorry

There is NO CHANCE that a "transformer" would cause the symptoms you are describing.
It sounds like you either blew a head gasket or the block cracked.
I hope you get cleared of the murder charge.
get a pressure test on radiator via a radiator cap that has a pressure gauge with the engine running . The head gasket is probably blown on the engine and this can cause exhaust pressure to go into the cooling system and create this symptom you are experiencing.
you may also have more expensive problems like a warped head or cracked head . $$$$$ - remachining or welding and remachining of engine head and a blown gasket .
Yes i have worked on these cars but never seen a auto version as yet ?if you get a new one then you will see where it has to fit as some are inside the gearbox and some on the linkage but wherever it is it will be the same as a VW polo and one i done on a old golf was under the mechanism in the cab for the gearchange and wasnt too difficult to change

Hello: You may have a stopped up radiator. A temp sensing heat sensor will tell you. Auto Zone or advance auto. Are you sure the head gasket is not leaking? Does coolant fill up the surge tank and bubble with engine running????
If it ran hot when the water pump went out, it may have melted some of the interior parts and so ruined the engine. As it was driven on, it probably blew the head gasket. You may fix it simply by replacing the head gasket or you may need a complete engine overhaul, depending on how hot it got and how much damage was done. The only way to know for certain is to go into the engine to assess the damage.
The heads will have to be removed and new gaskets installed. You will then need to find out why it blew the head gaskets. Overheating is the most common cause. STOP driving this vehicle until you have this repaired or you will destroy this engine.
It would seem that @ 8Nnm you were under the torque to properly seat the gasket and it blew out. Going down @ 5Nm may worsen the issue.
My manual lists 11Nm for many of the smaller bolts in the auto trans. Unless you believe that you over tightened and that's why it blew out?
Remember to evenly cross torque/tighten the bolts to get even seating. Did you use any sealant on one side of the gasket, that may help (only apply a small thin continuous sealent bead...this will help stop gasket movement and blowout)
