Your car should have a dip stick that tells you where the oil level is. Use that to determine how much oil you need to add. Add 1 qt at a time until the oil appears on the dip stick, then add the oil slowly, checking the level until it is in the hash marks on the dip stick. If there is no dipstick, drain the oil and measure the oil using a gallon or quart containers and add the recommended amount. Remember there is already about 1 qt of oil in the filter.

how do i remove the rt. front door pannel to service the window operator?
SOURCE: overheating,eveything looks ok.
I have a 97 Cadillac Deville with a northstar engine and have replaced it twice so far, so i answer this by experience...i've noticed to my two prior engines that went bad that the normal temp should NOT EXCEED 228 (normal), the red overheating light will come on at 250 and at 260 it will beep and tell you to stop engine - idle engine and will begin to smoke (overheat).
I hope this helps you and anyone else...by the way if your asking why did i replace my engine twice is simply because my cadillac is super clean inside and out, immaculate condition.
SOURCE: hi my name is danny i have a 2004 cadillac deville
2004 Cadillac Deville holds 7.5 quarts (or 7.1 Liters) with a filter change.
as far as the check engine light goes u must have the system tested to determine the cause, there are over 200 faults that can cause the check ngine light to come on and each has a number like this example "P0174 bank 2 eng lean".
