You probably nee d a new door latch assembly; inside the door, take alot of wd40, lube the door latch were it closes against striker pin, to free the movable part of the latch; push in on the door handle (like your opening the door), at the same time use a pointy screwdriver awl or flat blade scredriver and push the latch up and out of the locked position, its the movable part in the door latch, hopefully its not bent and will not move. also sometimes the door hinges wear out and the latch striker does not line up with the door latch pin, see if they line up if they do not close the door while lifting it at the same time. I hope this helps you

Will a drivers side door from a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee interchange with a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Larado. Both are 2 doors.

No. they are not the same model and not even close to the same year. it should be pretty obvious that the two doors don't even look the same?

I have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Larado. I just paid $1200.00 to have the dash pulled and the evaportor replaced. Now I get zero heat. They replaced the thermostat (didn't solve problem) and say the actuator...

if it got stuck when they took it apart.yes. It may also be coincedence.the heat worked before they did the evap I beleive I would be more than a little angry.it should of been noticed when they had it apart. Sorry but this is not something I can be for sure about but I would question the whole deal, the original price is right, if they were at fault when the box was out this should be a free labor
repair in my book.

04 jeep larado/windows will not open or close

If all fuses etc check out, look at wiring harness inside loom that is located near door hinge area of drivers door for bared or broken wires. Not uncommon for wires to get ruined especially at drivers door, as it is opened & closed the most.

Tailgate stuck

The auto lock burned out you need to go to dealer and get ripped off for $300 to have them fix it. Make sure you tell them the exact problem since it took 3 mechanics two days to figure mine out after i told them what was wrong the first time. Not too swift there.
