Sterio installation question

I have a 1990 toyota 4runner SR5. I want to install an aftermarket sterio but dont have a wire harnest to adapt the two ends together. I want to install a pioneer MOSFET 50W x 4 super tuner 3 d. Is there any way that i can cut into the wires to hook it up without damaging something or leaving something important unconnected?

HOW DO I REMOVE THE DELPHI 6 DISK RECEIVER AND AMP TO INSTALL AN AFTERMARKET SYSTEM WITHOUT MESSING THE WIRING UP

There are aftermarket connector packages that will plug up directly to your factory wiring and allow you to wire up your aftermarket unit without cutting any original wiring. Crutchfield supplied these with aftermarket units they sell. You may be able to purchase one from them.

Here is a link to a thread on Yotatech.com that has a great write-up on how to remove the radio. The radio shown is the stock radio but the steps should be identical. Tons of pics to make it easy, hope this helps!

I have a 1990 toyota 4runner sr5! There is a black and white wire that goes to the starter that has power to it! Half way down this wire there is an encased diode or something and another wire comes up...

Check this wiring diagrams...

DON'T REMOVE FACTRORY CONNECTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spend $15 and buy a wiring kit. It plugs right into your vechile wires and the kit tells you what wires are what. Splicing the wires will lead to headaces down the road!!!
