2005 Ford f 250 6.0 where is the dash lights fuse and does it have a bulb behind the dash cover

It is a simple process to remove the dash and replace the bulb. First try to reach up behind the dash and feel the bulb you want to replace.

My Buick had no lights in the dash and they had to replace a cluster of light bulbs. Mine was covered under warranty.

yes drivers side open door and behind the panel on the end of the dash is a cover ,behind this cover is the fuses

my 2005 f250 diesel is all of a sudden not going into 4 x 4, no lights on dash now and cannot engage on wheels manually. Does anyone know where there is a fuse that operates this function that I can check?

Fuses don't have #'s, they come in amperage ratings.
On the fuse box, or under side of cover, it should have the abbreviation (crtsy) lights, or simular. It shouldn't be anymore than a 10 to 20 amp fuse. The amperage is marked on the fuse.

best bet is get a WIRING DIAGRAM. you should have current (12 volts) on both sides of the fuse that works the tailights.if not there is probably a broken wire or a shorted wire leading up to the fuse. you kinda need the wiring diagram so u can see in which order the current "flows" which will help point u in the right direction.

HI THERE I TAKE IT THE BULBS HAVE GONE BEHIND YOUR DASH FIRSTLY MAKE SURE THE REST OF THE DASH LIGHTS ARE OK LIKE HEATER/SWITCHES ETC IF THEY ARE OK THEN WE CAN RULE OUT FUSES CAUSE THEY ARE NORMALLY ON SAME FUSE.
TO STRIP DASH YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE TORX OR PHILLIPS SCREWS AT COVER OF SPEEDOMETER YOU CAN NOW REMOVE COVER NOW YOU WILL SEE PHILLIPS OR TORX SCREWS HOLDING IN SPEEDOMETER REMOVE SCREWS AND MOVE SPEEDOMETER ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS DISCONNECT PLUG AT BACK OF SPEEDO YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET TO BULBS ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS REPLACE BLOWN BULBS AND REBUILD BACK UP IF THIS HELPS YOU PLEASE RATE IT THANX.

Facing fuse box, left hand side, bottom fuse

The dash lights and tailights are on the same fuse link. everything else will work like brake lights and turn signals but this one fuse causues alot of problems. Sometimes this fuses isnt marked on your cover so you might have to look in the maual to find the right fuse . some will be under the hood some will be under the dash .
