SOURCE: battery chargln for extra battery in van
There should be 4 wires on the alternator, labeled IG, L, S and B. The wires for S and B should be white. Connect both S and B wires to the positive terminal of your spare battery.
SOURCE: I HAVE EXTRA FUSES DONT KNOW WHERE THEY GO .
cant help you with where they go exactly as never seen one of these cars but look at fuse board and put a fuse in anyone that has two connectors in the slot where the fuses go as to their amp ratings ask another owner to look at theirs and write it down
SOURCE: No dash lights or dimmer control after installing a stereo system
you have to run a jump wire to you cluster when you pull the factory unit out the aftermarket units are wired just a little different find your illumination wire should be orange and make sure it is wired correctly you may have to tie it in to a different wire,,,, i did this on several gm trucks i cant remember which wire i had to jump it to but i belive i tied the amp and illumantion wires together and made it work your fuse will protect you from doing any damage if you should jump the wrong wire...
SOURCE: Power wire for brake stop switch?
to do this you need a twelve volt tester ground one of tester and test the wire on brake switch and u will find the right wire
SOURCE: i have a 98 chevy
it looks like you've covered the positive side of things, have you thought about your grounds? i had the same issue with a suburban and it persisted until i took loose all of the ignition/charging system grounds scrubbed the wire connector and the point of contact with a wire brush, put a dab of Vaseline on them and tightened them down(this is what a old school mechanic i know suggested. i thought it would be a waste of time and would take more effort than it was worth, but after about three hundred dollars in parts i finally gave in and it cured it. sometimes one bad ground can cause allot of baffling issues!) this may be your problem. hope this helps best of luck.
