Not to sure, but i think its cable. Loosen the nut that holds the cable to the speedo drive on the gearbox. check if the inner cable is broken.

Instrument cluster dont work unless you got the clutch in and the gear shift in nutral and only the will the gadget work

The only wires to a manual transmission is the speedometer. Being a 95, it may not have wires. It could be cable. You could have pinched some wire when installing the transmission. My guess is you lost ground to the cluster. Since it comes on with the neutral switch engaged. When you engage it, the cluster finds the ground source threw it.

The rev counter is not working, is it electronic or a cable 1989 3l aut glx sierra

It should be electric but check to see if there is a cable from the engine to the dash . Tachos (rev counter) normally get their impulses from the distributor and the power from the ignition run line

Where can i find the Transmission fluid dipstick on a 1994 Mazda 626

If your 626 does not have the dipstick you have to take out the speedometer cable and you can check it right there...The cable has hash marks on it at the end.....Also Mazda had Transmission problems on this year model......

Good luck to you

Speedometer counter don't working

Sounds like the clocks have been tampered with if the speedometer is still working, You can try running the miles backwards with a drill on the cable, and then forwards again past the number where it jammed, run it back and forth a few times and once it gets past the stuck number youre sorted... it may happen again in 1,10,100 or 1000 miles time... and if so youre best with a new or scrapyard speedometer - write down the original mileage when you change the speedometer - maybe on a panel under the bonnet so you have something to go off to decide when to service the car - EG old mileage + new mileage = actual mileage. hope this helps.

Speedometer does not work

Your Speedometer cable was probably not installed when putting in the engine. If it was, the speedometer cable was probably severed

Where is the fuel reset button located on 1999 mazda 626

If you mean fuel reset as in zeroing your mileage counter? just hold the button down that scrolls through your odometer readings, it'll zero out within a few seconds.
