I have a 1991 oldsmobile cutlass supreme sl 3.1 liter.changed multi function turn signal switch all functions work properly.when putting it back together noticed there were three wires pulled.

SOURCE: cutlass supreme wont start

It could possibly be the starter, but before you get that far make sure the Battery cables are connected very tight. If loose the car won't start or do anything. Also make sure the battery cable is grounded.

My turn signal flasher was located to the right of the ash tray, I looked around the column for HOURS and it wasn't there... I also have an 93 oldsmobile cutlass ciera, it drove me crazy because the manual wasn't correct.

Disconnect the battery to do any service on the steering column or front radiator areas.

the fuse box will be in 1 of 3 places (1)glovebox (2)under dash by drivers foot kick panel or (3) under hood .

Check with your local GM dealer as to whether or not your vehicle is covered by a recall on "Multi-function" switches. This is a common problem with GM's of that vintage.

Blinkers do not work when i try to use them normaly. But will work when i use them like changeing lanes when i just pull down slighty.

sounds like the turn signal switch is the problem,also known as the multi-function switch, you must remove the steering wheel to acess this switch.hope this helps. if you need more help get back to me and we'll go from there. Thanks Ray PLEASE rate my fix
