In order to start and run an engine needs: -
A good cranking speed.
The correct amount of fuel delivered into the combustion chamber at the right time,
Good compression.
A spark sufficient to ignite the mixture at the right time.
An engine that doesn't start has at least one requirement missing and only systematic checks will reveal which.
Considering the age of the car I wouldn't be surprised if the injector spray patterns are bad and I suggest you begin there.

The Fuel Pump is Inside the Fuel Tank. You will need to Trop the Fuel tank for this. Not an Easy Job by any Means.
