Flashing is usually a misfire that can potentially hurt the catalytic converter . Need codes posted here .
Testimonial: "It ended up being a broke spark plug cable on cylinder 5. I will pick one up today and hopefully no damage has been done to the engine. Thank you all for your help, I certainly appreciate this."
Not much we can tell you other than to take it in and get the codes read, or find a buddy with a code reader.
Check the normal things, including fluids and making sure the fuel filler cap is tightly on.
Testimonial: "Codes were read last nigh, but my wife didn't write the code down. It was a misfire on Cylinder 5 being reported."
SOURCE: Service engine soon light is flashing
When the light comes on without flashing, it just means an emissions problem, when it starts to flash it has become more serious. I suspect that there was an error putting the plugs and or wires. That computer can determine if there is a misfire and it will put out a P040X, code where X represents which cylinder is the problem. This will help you not have to take each one apart. If there are more than one, check each number.
Ex. P0401 means there is misfire on cylinder number 1
P0400 is a random misfire detected.
If you take it to an Advance or Autozone they will usually scan if for free.
By the way, if you used cheap plugs instead of platinum plugs that could do it too.
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: How can I reset check engine light on 2003 Chevy
Hi. the recommended action is to use a diagnostic CPU. Once attached to the in-car port under the dash, you can use this CPU to clear, and reset the DTC. There is another way, as well. You can , simply, pull the negative battery cable for 5 to 10 minutes. This will force the DTC to be cleared, thus, causing the light to shut down for a short time.

you might try unhooking the battiey for 20min both + and - posties cuz that will force the computor to have to resest only if you have addressied the fuel pressure problem which taht would most likly be your filter which isn't all that much

P0135 is a bad 02 sensor
P0442 is a evap problem
P0449 is a vent solenoid
i would check the vent solenoid first its a 4ws fuse under the hood in the fuse box make sure you have power to it you should have power at all times the ground comes from the pcm i think if you fix this everything else will work they are all computer controled
