Hampton Bay track lights are sold by Home Depot, if you have that store nearby. They have retail stores, and web sites if you want to contact them that way.

Take a bulb out and take it to your local hardware store. Bulbs come in one of a dozen or two standard sizes. Easier than tracking down the model.

Yes, you can replace just the bulb. Remove the light assembly and you can get to the bulbs on the back side.

SOURCE: how do you get the brake light bulb holder out to

For the inside-the-fender units, to remove either the brake light or tail light holder, push the holder in and rotate it counterclockwise to release it.
Hope this helps you. If your unit has some other configuration, describe it in a comment and I will try to deal with it.

SOURCE: replace bulb holders on 2000 ford explorer upper console

Take take the bulb holder into most major auto parts stores and they usually have a help section with commonly replaced items on a car, they might just carry the bulb holders. I believe the bulbs are 194 bulbs. Buy the 194LL (Long Life) and they should last longer.

AEG - BPK556320M wall oven - How I gain access to replace the lamp holder

To gain access to the lamp holder in your AEG BPK556320M wall oven in order to replace it, you will need to remove certain panels. Here are some general steps you can follow:
  1. Disconnect the power: Before you begin, make sure to disconnect the power to the oven by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker.
  2. Locate the lamp holder: The lamp holder is typically located inside the oven, often behind the oven light cover.
  3. Remove the light cover: The light cover is usually located on the ceiling of the oven and can be removed by gently pulling it towards you.
  4. Remove the screws or clips: Once the light cover is removed, you will see the lamp holder. It is held in place by screws or clips, remove them to take out the lamp holder.
  5. Install the new lamp holder: Carefully insert the new lamp holder into the socket, making sure that the pins are lined up correctly. Replace the screws or clips to secure the new lamp holder in place.
  6. Reinstall the light cover: Carefully place the light cover back in place, making sure that it is securely fastened.
  7. Reconnect the power: Reconnect the power to the oven by plugging it back in or turning the circuit breaker back on.
  8. Test the light: Turn on the oven light to test the new lamp holder.
It's important to note that these are general steps and the specific procedures may vary depending on the exact model and type of your oven. It's recommended to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for the specific instructions and precautions for your oven.

Best (Broan) K260A - I tried to change the bulb as well....completely inaccessible to change with hands (bulb is set deeper in hood, not even flush) tried gloves, rubber jar opener but cannot get access to...

The lamp holder assembly snaps into a hole in the range hood with spring clips. To remove the light bulbs, you simply push and turn, like older, bayonet style automotive turn signal bulbs. It seems you have broken your lamp holder assembly. Just break the trim ring so it can be removed, or you can try to take it out reverse polish style by releasing the spring clips from the middle inwards. Once the trim ring is loose, you can extract the body of the lamp holder through the hole... the wires will be barely long enough to stick out the hole if you are lucky. If you are crafty, you may fashion a repair on the separated lamp socket assembly. If not, your replacement part number is SV16569. just call nutone-broan at 800-558-1711 and they will be glad to ship you a new lamp shell socket trim assembly.

2004 Toyota Highlander, have no tail-lights, all other lights work ?

With the car jacked up and on safety stands, follow the wiring harness from the taillights to the front of the car. The wire is probably pinched, burned or shorted somewhere along the way. Did you have any work done on the bottom chassis area recently? Does sound like a pinched wire.

No brake lights. replaced fuse, bulbs and switch.

You probably already checked the fuses, but if you have not ...

Have the brake lamp holders been checked to determine whether they are corroded? (That was my problem with front turn signal bulbs - replaced the lamp holders.)

Hi i have a 1999 escort van diesel the left side light keeps blowning fuses and i have no brake lights and the hand brake light stays on

Hi sounds like you have the usual escort van rear lamp nightmre start by removing the bulb holders in the rear lamps check where the wiring connecter conects to the lamp they should be clean and free of corrosion look for terminals that look black or have broken off the connecter this is so common there is a wiring repair kit available from ford to rectify this the other problem is with the bulb holders themselves should have two metal tags/contacts that pass power from the lamp to the bulbs these often corrode till theres nothing left replace them if they are like this also check you have got the right bulbs in the bulb holders they often get the wrong ones fitted causing all sorts of wierd back feeding problems to the electrical system the favourite is putting a two contact bulb in a single contact bulb holder this will cause nigthmares the other poular solution is to ditch the escort
rear lamps and fit ones from a trailer as they are made a lot better and give less trouble

The light on cruise buttons & part of the heat/air has went out

From Lou on Topix.com

The bulbs are very inexpensive. They can be purchased at Radio Shack. Two bulbs cost about $2 per set. They are 12 volt, 60 milliamp and they come with long leads. To replace the bulbs in the steering wheel you must first carefully pry out the switch and the unplug it. Then you must carefully unsnap the switch housing. Take extra caution to not break any of the plastic snap fittings and do not lose any parts. The circuit boards contain the mini-lamps and they are soldered onto the board. Snap of the old bulbs , reatin the housing and the blue rubber light covers. Place the new bulb into the old holder, slip on the blue lens cover, snip the leads to about 1/4 inch, and then solder them onto the boards in the old place. Once soldered, carefully bend the bulb over to lay flat. Take the time to replace all of the bulbs. Re-assemble the switch and replace it in the steering wheel.
For the heat control dash lights the entire assembly must be removed. Replace the bulbs inthe same manner as above. The door lights do not need to be soldered, they have a holder that "unscrews" from the circuit board. Just remove the old bulb from the holder, insert the new bulb and twist the leads into place and snip off the excess leads. Then "screw" the holder back into the circuit board.

Light Bulb Replaement

I just replaced the license plate lamps on my 2004 Deville DTS.
Lamp is PC195. Lamp PC168 will also work, (it was in my car for the last two years), but it is a brighter bulb than needed.

You pop out the lamp holders by pushing (sliding)the right side towards the left. That little push will unhook plastic tabs from the sheet metal and the right side of the lamp holder will release from the trunk. See the attached photo.

To push the lamp holder, I used a narrow putty knife covered with masking tape. A screwdriver will work as well. The masking tape protects the paint from scratches.
