This is a R-134a system and right around 1 .75 lbs should be planty for that system without going over and provide a nice icey cold vent. Let me know if you need anything else.

Sometimes when they check alternators it says that they are ok. But sometimes they are not. If the car dies and the lights go dim then it is going to be the alternator. But if the car runs fine and the battery is dead the next day or several hours later. Then there is something that is not turning off and draining the battery. If this is the case, the best way to find the problem is to take the fuses out and put them back in one by one. Whith the key off. You will get a spark when you find the one that is causing the problem. DC voltage will not spark unless it is under a load. And a load is what is killing the battery.

Remove negative battery terminal, release tank pressure by opening gas cap, remove the rear seat, you will see a cover, remove the cover, you will now see the top of the gas tank and also the pump, the pump is located inside the tank and can be removed from the top, next remove the connector from pump, remove the lines, note : cover lines with a rag as you remove there may be a little pressure, this will help gas from spray all over, with connector removed and lines removed you will now remove the six bolts holding the pump in, lift and remove the pump, take note of the position, make a ref mark so you can reinstall pump in top of tank facing the right way. this is called a fuel pump module, here is a picture of the pump unit.
