Need mew fobs amazon like $20 for two easy to program
Hello James,
It sounds like either you have a blown fuse or relay under the hood. Or it may be your keyfob. With the Interior lights and the liftgate not working. I want to say it may be a fuse. Have you hooked anything new upon the vehicle? If so you might have shorted something out. Have you recently put a receiver hitch on it? If so there is a possibility you could have got your wires pinched in it, or you may have lost a ground wire somewhere in your wiring. I'm sure you have probably already checked your fuses, but did you check both boxes? The one under the hood and the one under the dash? Check them and go from there to your wiring and check your battery in your Fob. You can make sure your fob hasn't messed up by taking it to someone with the right scan tool and reprogram it to your vehicle. Try that and see what you come up with.

Hi John.
Inspect the key fob for a place to open it and check for a battery.

The easy part is you just need the latch for the liftgate. The hard part is getting to it and opening the liftgate to replace the latch. You should be able to pull the liftgate trim off most of the way with the gate closed and try to manually actuate the latch to open the gate. You may have to go so far as breaking the latch from the inside to open the gate and then replace your latch.

Insert key into door barrel or ignition lock and turn key, whilst doing this press the unlock/lock button, the led on the dash should flash to indicate this has initialised the key to the car, then remove key and test operation of remote. If this fails then a new remote plus coding to the car by your dealership is needed
Try pulling the rear hatch panel and move the unlock mechanism with a screw driver to get it to open.
If that does Not work:
Check for broken wires in the liftgate boot. Test the liftgate module powers and ground on the 4 terminal connector: 12 volts on the Orange wires in terminals A and C, ground on the Black wire in terminal D. The liftgate module is located inside the gate.
