Is there any picture inside it could it be handbrake light flashing or brakes maybe check brake reservoir under bonnet and top up if nessessary

chokes ended here in 1989. USA, suzuki.

Sounds like you have a weak fuel pump and a faulty fuel sending unit.

pull the head off it's either bent or corroded or block has a crack either way the head will have to come off

It is possible that your car has some blocked jets, the fuel pump/injectors need a retune. Change the fuel filter and do a general suzuki 20 check up. the fault will clear off. I am sure this is a fault linked to the firing/fuel at the low RPM. What you can check is to see the filters, the electric section for poor contacts. Hope you try. Good day
