While I was changing out struts on my 2007 Entourage, I had to remove the wiper motor. It was easy to do it, 4 - 10mm bolts and it was out.
Getting to the motor took a little more work but is not impossible. You have to remove the windshield vent cover (not sure what it's called), it's located at the bottom of the windshield, and when the hood is up, you can remove the wiper arms and those trim pieces and get to the motor easily.
This is a good general video that will show you how to roughly remove everything, granted this is a strut replacement video, but the beginning is what would be important to you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpSIv3mk98k Hope that helps!
If the engine is still not warmed up yet and you take off like a bat out of hell, they will misfire occasionally. If it is a frequent problem change the spark plugs.
Hi:
There are hundreds of reasons the Check engine light comes on, some as simple as a loose gas cap. You need to have your code scanned to see what tripped the light..Most auto parts stores will scan your car for free, and tell you what the code is on for..that way you can make a better decision as to what is wrong with your car.
Hi ..... This sounds as if it's fitted with an automatic choke, as long as the revs drop when it's warm there is nothing to worry about. The indication when these start to go wrong is that the car won't start when cold ................ even then any decent mechanic can fit a normal/manual choke.
