SOURCE: crank shaft bolt left or right hand thread on rav4

It's right hand thread, but very tight. One trick mechanics use, is to disable the igniton, and put a johnson bar on it, with it braced somewhere against a frame member, and crank the engine very briefly with the starter. The engine cranks clockwise so you must ready the bar against something in that direction. As you crank, the bolt resists in the counterclockwise direction and comes free. Sometimes makes a bit of noise, but it works like a charm.

Fiat Palio 1.2 8v is the cam pulley bolt, left hand thread or right hand thread.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

Standard Right Hand Thread. You can always check by the rotation, because rotation always tightens a bolt. Imagine the rotation and a socket and torque wrench on the bolt.

Are the Cutting blades bolts for a John Deere LT 160 right handed thread or left handed thread?

It is typical to use right handed thread so you would turn them clockwise to install, and counterclockwise to remove. The blade rotates towards the cutting edge which is typically counterclockwise, so to remove the bolt, you unscrew it, with the handle of your wrench pulling towards the back of the blade.. These bolts can be really tight. Pull the spark plug lead or remove the ignition key so you don't get an accidental start. Wear gloves, there are sharp bits.

I need to know which direction the fan bolt turns to get it off a 2002 trailblazer with a 4.2 vortec egine

It is probably left-hand threads, meaning turning it clockwise will loosen it. This may sound silly but, if you can see any of the threads from straight above....if threads run "downhill" from left to right its left hand threads, if threads run "downhill" from right to left its right hand threads. The bolt or nut on fan clutches are tough to loosen any way. You can't hurt it easily. You might try smacking the end of the wrench with a mallet. Hope this is clear as mud!!
