Its got hydraulic lifters (TAPPETS) car might have low oil pressure as these kind of cars ten to adjust thems selves if there all clicking and you have good 5 w 20 gtx oil then i would suspect worn engine bearings you might take the oild pan off look inside see if theres fine metal on bottom of pan while your there look at the oil pump screen and look at the main bearings to see if they are worn down

SOURCE: how to tighten rocker arms

Does the clicking ever go away? valve adjustments are tricky and must be done in a certain sequence. It's best they be done by a knowledgeable mechanic or it can get all messed up. No offence. I'm not sure if the lifters are hydraiulic or solid. If hydraulic, a quart of dexron trans fluid in the oil should free up a sticking lifter. Watch your oil pressure and add only to clean oil and filter. Do not overfill engine. If it calls for 5 quarts then put 4 + the trans fluid. if it quiets down after running for about 10 minutes. a sticky lifter was your problem and crappy oil was the cause.
Good luck.and change the oil again whether it works or not within 50 miles.or once it clrars up.

SOURCE: 2005 Suzuki Forenza timing belt breakage

hi im not sure on this particular model but there a few easy ways to check.... take the spark plugs out, remove the broken belt, shine a light down the holes and look for dammdge, if you cant see anything you can turn the crank but it is a tricky job because you can ruin the engine so if your unsure get a mechanic to do it.. or your other alternative is to remove the head and have a look but you will need a new head gasket kit, timing belt and tensioner kit etc .. it is important that you do not turn the engine over when the belt is disconected in any way UNTIL you know for sure that valves wont hit pistons, even bending a valve will not be very noticable but when its all back together you will deffinately notice and will have to pull it all back apart

How to tighten the timing belt tensioner on suzuki forenza 2005

I am pretty sure the tensioner is not adjustable. It sounds like you may not have the belt in the right place. Or if you replaced it, make sure you have the correct belt.

We are repalcing a transmission on a suzuki forenza .How do you remove the axels

You will need to remove the lower control arm from the knuckle/hub carrier(at the balljoint) and also unbolt the hubnut. You should then be able to pull the hub assembly away from the vehicle to give you enough free space to remove the axle from the carrier. The other end of the axle pulls out of the transmission.
