you might try unhooking battery post from battery and leaving it like that for at least 30 minutes and if that dont work. Try to start the car and when it doesnt not start leave the key in the on postion for 10 minutes and the turn the key off and then when you try to start it again but be sure that you use the clock that is in the car to count the 10 minutes with. we have to do this with my wifes old 2004 chevy malibu classic. hope it helps
Hello! The Drive-Cycle is as follows...Check engine light off, codes cleared; cold start...Warm up engine 5 minutes...Drive (w/ steady throttle) at a steady speed between 40 and 60 mph for 8 min...Stop and idle 3 min...Drive (w/ steady throttle) at a speed above 20 mph for 2 minutes...Turn key off, leave off 10 min...

You need to reset the theft system. To do this, try to start it. It should start and die. Then after it dies and the theft light is flashing, leave the key on for 10 minutes. After 10 min, the theft light should go out. After the theft light goes out, turn off the key. Count to 5, then restart it. Then it should work.
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the rubber fuel lines being old and cracked. The hoses would warm up and fuel would squirt out of the cracks. I had to replace three fuel line hoses and it has been running great ever since. Good luck.
