I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.

99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.8l V8 Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement. How can I tell if mine had a spacer on the mounting bolt.

I looked at info for 4.7L engine. I would have checked the cam sensor wiring circuits, before replacing anything. Three wire connector, ref voltage--ground--signal.
Some of these vehicles, the computer needs to see both the cam and crank sensor signals or it won't start.
Engine cranking do you have spark at the plugs--proper fuel pressure--fuel injector pulse?
I don't think I have ever seen a spacer on the sensor mounting bolt, but, I haven't seen everything.

1996 jeep grand Cherokee will turn over but not start. weak spark. fuel at fuel rail. replaced PCM 1 month ago. replaced crank shaft sensor 3 months ago....

See if your getting spark at the ign. coil first (passengers side on that year) if you are change the crank shaft sensor making sure you mount it as close to the engine as possible so it never gives you trouble again.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado wont start. Cranks, but injectors do not pulse( fuel rail has pressure.)

If computer sees no crank sensor signal it shuts down pulses to the injectors. But, you bring something new into the mix. Make sure fender grounding is good so the relay can operate properly and make sure power going to it is not restricted by a loose or dirty contact on the power side.

Grand cherokee 2000 starting probs

you need to see if you have spark and check all fuses and see if you have fuel pressure and injector pulse if no spark and no injector pulse suspect crank sensor or ignition control module if no fuel pressure check fuses then relays and then suspect pump

1996 jeep grand chrokee turns over will not start, replaced cam shaft censor and ECM, and coil. distibuter cap looks bad has some white dust inside and contacts burnt. could it be that?

If you did not replace the CRANK sensor on the back side of the motor this most likely is the problem and a very common one at that.this controls spark and injector pulse, unlike the cam sensor which just shows when #1 cilyder is up.

Engine wont start seems to be a fuel injector problem ,not fuel pump, has fire to coil and plugs.5.2 v-8

It is the VATS system (vehicle anti theft system). The codes need to be cleared out and lock and unlock the drivers door from the outside with the key. This is most likley the problem if the injectors are not geting pulse or check the crank sensor with a scan tool in datastream, it will show RPMs if it is getting crank signal.

Car has no spark or injector pulse(new ecm, crank sensor)

Check the fuse for the injectors, some vehicles have the injectors and coil running on the same circut, at the same time check the fuse for the ignition.
